Partially threaded screw hex cap screw metric fasteners
Partially threaded screw is opposite to fully thread screw. The screws are used for connecting two or more kinds of material, one of them do not need to have a threaded hole. Ever Hardware provides custom made partially threaded screw and customizable packaging.
The hex socket screw drive has a hexagonal recess and may be driven by a hex wrench, also known as an Allen wrench, Allen key, hex key or inbus as well as by a hex screwdriver (also known as a hex driver) or bit. Tamper-resistant versions with a pin in the recess are available.
The German company Bauer & Schaurte patented the hex socket 1936 in Germany, and offered products based on it to the market. The abbreviation “Inbus” is derived from “Innensechskant Bauer & Schurte”, analogous to the US use of “Allen key”.
Captive fasteners are an engineered class of fastener designed for a permanent hold (captivation) within a target assembly or housing, including upon servicing. They provide a secure joining, and avoid fastener loss or damage that might be caused by a loose part.
A Captive fastener is often made with thread locking, press-fitting, or broaching to accomplish an anchor-hold within a larger assembly housing. However, a captive fastener may also be melded with the material into which it is joined, either through cold forming or welding.
Electrophoresis is the motion of dispersed particles relative to a fluid under the influence of a spatially uniform electric field. It is ultimately caused by the presence of a charged interface between the particle surface and the surrounding fluid. It is the basis for a number of analytical techniques used in chemistry for separating molecules by size, charge, or binding affinity.
Ever Hardware is a young company, but we are not a young team.
