Plastic Wing Nuts Black White Plastic Thumb Metric Lighten Butterfly
The plastic wing nuts are generally used where light and insulation is needed. Nylon is a generic designation for a family of synthetic polymers, more specifically aliphatic or semi-aromatic polyamides. They can be melt-processed into fibers, films or shapes. Ever Hardware provides the custom-made plastic wing nuts and customizable packaging.
A wingnut or wing nut is a type of nut with two large metal “wings”, one on each side, so it can be easily tightened and loosened by hand without tools. A similar fastener with a male thread is known as a wing screw or a wing bolt.
Wingnut is a piece of metal that can be easily turned with the fingers used to anchor screws into wood or other material.
The first example of nylon (nylon 6,6) was produced on February 28, 1935, by Wallace Carothers at DuPont’s research facility at the DuPont Experimental Station. Nylon polymers have found significant commercial applications in fibers (apparel, flooring and rubber reinforcement), in shapes (molded parts for cars, electrical equipment, etc.), and in films (mostly for food packaging). Use these Nylon Spacers with bolts and screws to maintain space between the head and the surface. These spacers are constructed from durable nylon material. Nylon helps with vibration and corrosion resistance. After initial commercialization of nylon as a fiber, applications in the form of shapes and films were also developed. The main market for nylon shapes now is in auto components, but there are many others.
